It was in the early stages of the first Kratom exploration waves that SWIM found out that the original specimen of all mitragyna speciosa aka Kratom trees originated from the island of New Guinea where - besides mitragyna speciosa aka Kratom - we also find an abundance of cannibals, gold and birds of paradise.

It was right after World War II, the inner parts of New Guinea had not been explored yet and the cannibals there had not yet discovered their later liking for the flesh of white missionaries.

SWIM took the first plane that went there, which crashed in the western part of the island. SWIM of course was the only survivor and when he regained consciousness found himself in a forest of mitragyna speciosa aka Kratom.

Without losing a second SWIM munched himself up the first kratom tree. Just minutes later a tribe of cannibals arrived to devour the remains of crew and passengers. The plane itself they found inedible. There would have been no encounter between SWIM and the cannibals - both busy nibbling each on his own diet - had it not been for the sound of the blood dripping steadily from the injuries of SWIM. The cannibals looked up and saw SWIM with a wide grin on his face, bathed in his own blood, high up in a Kratom aka mitragyna speciosa tree, stuffing in his mouth what would later be known as Indo Kratom aka mitragyna speciosa var. Indonesia. The painkilling, stimulating and euphorising aura of SWIM until then had become so potent, that the cannibals ran away as fast as they could. In their deep believe to have just encountered one of their gods they did not even hear how SWIM was asking them to reveal one of their secret recipes for an Indo Kratom salad.

SWIM later still got the recipe but kept it secret for this salad only to be prepared on special occasions like New Year’s Eve, funeral parties and so on...
